Compassmax Dry cleaning software

  • For ticket printing, Compassmax Dry Cleaning Software uses virtually any printer. We prefer the small footprint and speed of the Zebra thermal printer and Star or Epson receipt printers, however Compassmax has a generic windows driver that will allow use of virtually any direct print or windows printer*. For reporting, Compassmax Dry Cleaning Software uses any windows installed report printer*. For tag printing, Compassmax Dry Cleaning Software uses various models of the Zebra printer and can use the Okidata/Espon dot matrix for backward compatibility with older systems*. (*check with your CompassMax sales rep for specific printer model and form compatibility).
  • Most paper suppliers offer computer forms, however Compassmax is also a forms dealer for ticket and tag paper. We offer very competitive prices and the advantage of one-stop shopping too!
  • Absolutely! You don’t have to switch to computer generated tags. Compassmax can ask you what tag number(s) and color you are going to assign with every ticket you write, or just certain types of service. Or you can enter in tag information by ticket in batch later after the markin process. By entering in your tag information, you can take advantage of searching for misplaced garments by tag number to locate the ticket it belongs to.
  • Hardware technology changes fast. Compassmax uses a standard keyboard and mouse and works with most standard Windows PC’s, report printers and USB or keyboard wedge devices. For best results you want to make sure it meets our minimum hardware specifications and you allow more room to grow. We would be happy to evaluate what you have for current equipment and make the best recommendations for you.
  • We try to make the transition as easy for you and your customers as we can! In most cases, we are proud to say we can import your customer list of names, phones and addresses to help get you started in Compassmax*. Our staff at Compassmax will also get you started by entering in your pricing information and suggested price list design ahead of time. Both can save you hours of data entry time and allow you to get started right away with the information you are familiar with! (*check with your CompassMax sales rep for an analysis of your current customer list format).
  • Absolutely! We are proud to annouce our new Tailwinds integration. You can setup the Tailwinds styles you use for types of service, station or store locations. Compassmax will keep track of the last lot number and piece numbers used and automatically sequence them for the next ticket written. Compassmax has many additional lot and production tools to help you monitor your lots and decide when to switch or close them on your own as well as the current status of each lot being tagged in or assembled.
  • Absolutely! We are proud to annouce our new Marketing Shop integration. You can setup an automatic export of weekly ticket information for FTP to the Marketing Shop system. From there they can provide you with valuable statistical reports with information collected directly from your Compassmax system!
  • Yes we do! Compassmax proudly offers an advanced barcode tracking system that allows us to take advantage of the automated conveyors that our business partners have*. Compassmax automatically populates and updates the conveyor database with ticket and garment information with each ticket you write! You have instant information at your fingertips on where each item is located on the conveyor, or when it was extracted. Compassmax has detailed production and lot monitoring tools which help you see the progress for the day, showing each ticket due, if it has been racked, assembled, currently on conveyor or still missing pieces before completion. (*current conveyor business partners: Metalprogetti, HMC and White conveyors).
  • Compassmax is an all-in-one ready to use software package*. It automatically includes cash control, marketing, inventory control, reporting, accounts receivable, route delivery, operator mailing features, historical data and much more! If you do not have a need for one of those options now, it will be there in the future for no additional cost when you are ready to expand your computer needs. (*currently only automated assembly options are sold separate).
  • You sure can! Compassmax offers a variety of tools to export information. Of course it offers the basics: New customer mailing, We miss you mailing, Year to date sales mailing, Aged balances and Aged inventory mailing… but you can also design your own with unlimited selection criteria. Compassmax offers a custom query builder tool to allow you to select your own sorts and information for report or export. Export files are in a standard csv file and can include header information to make it easier for import into your prefered mailing or tracking software.
  • Compassmax is compatible with two different methods for emailing your customers, standard SMTP or an Outlook Express integration. Compassmax makes emailing easy, with emailing options for marketing, tickets, statements, credit card receipts, web sign ups, reminders of ready orders and copies of internal operator mail… or just drop out one email to a customer directly from their account! User defined templates are available for each and can be personalized with customer information.
  • Compassmax is easy to learn! Offering on screen help with simple and easy to follow screens, requiring little effort on the employee’s part. Compassmax offers three types of interfaces: standard keyboard, standard mouse and touch screen. In our sixteen years in the drycleaning industry we have never had a person we couldn’t train! In most cases, customers converting to our system, even go live right away!
  • We sure do! Training is essential to get the maximum capabilities from your computer system. With every system we sell we offer on-site installation and training. It doesn’t have to happen just when you install the system, but invite us back anytime later when you want to brush up or learn something new, or come see us at our facility here in Falmouth, Maine! Compassmax also hosts user group meetings where you can learn more about important features in the system and how other cleaners are using them to help them grow their business too.
  • Yes we do! Although we have always boasted about how fast our keyboard method is, Compassmax has had a touchscreen mode available to users who prefer it… but now we’re making it even better! With new even easier to follow search, keypad and ticket writing options you are guided through each of the functions without alot of screens to navigate making it even easier to learn.
  • We are proud of the reputation we’ve earned for providing superior service and support to our customers. With our state of the art call tracking system we monitor incoming calls and prioritize calls so that you get the fastest service available if your system is down and escalate calls as needed. All cases are logged by customer, so that historical data can be viewed for any repeat issues aiding in quicker response time. Available support services include: 24-hour support / 365 days a year, toll-free phone and modem support, high-speed internet and e-mail support, on-site training or training at our facility, and national user group meetings.
  • Compassmax offers a great support and updates program, at a minimal cost*. The program is worth joining for just the updates alone, keeping your software current with all new features available when they come out. Of course you don’t have to join the program, technical support is also available as billable on an hourly basis if you prefer. (*after hours calls billed separately by the hour).
  • Compassmax is written in a state-of-the-art, 32-bit windows-based language, that allows us to make program changes and roll out updates very quickly. Version upgrades are automatically shipped to our support program customers usually on a bi-annual basis, but program updates are always available by request. Compassmax doesn’t force you to go to a new version if you don’t want to, if you are happy with the version you are running we will do our best to continue to support you on that version too!
